Camp Profile
Boulder Ridge Day Camp was purchased in early 2003
from a company who had run the facility as a summer day camp over 5 years ago and
most recently as a wedding and outing facility. The Ebners saw this
facility and realized immediately what a great place it would be to offer
a different summer camp experience than they had in the past to children
in Northern Connecticut.
The Ebner family has run residential boys and girls summer camps for over 50
years. Their other summer camps,
Awosting for Boys and
Chinqueka for Girls, are also
located in Litchfield County, on Bantam Lake and Mt. Tom Pond
respectively. The Ebners are now in their third generation of family
ownership and leadership. Considered by most to be pioneers
in the summer camp industry, the Ebner family brings over 200 years of combined
summer camps experience to Boulder Ridge Day Camp.
 Using our extensive knowledge of summer camps,
we have designed a program that will allow campers to maximize their time at
camp and still have a great summer. Our program is similar to other summer day
camps, but we go one step further in trying to make the summer extra special for
each and every camper. Simply put, Boulder Ridge Day Camp is one of the
finest summer day camps in the area.
