Staff are needed from June 21st until August 20th. There is also required pre-camp staff training prior to June 21st. Specific dates are TBA. First consideration will be given to applicants who are able to commit to the full summer. We can't wait to meet you.
CITs & LITs
Boulder Ridge offers a Counselor In Training program for young adults ages 14 & 15. This program is only open to previous BRDC campers. The application will be available in December.
Our Leader In Training program is open to all campers entering 7th grade or higher. We are unsure if this program will be available in 2021. Please check our Covid 19 Updates for more information. This program allows campers to help out at specified activities for one or two periods most days. Campers who would like to sign up for the LIT program can do so on their first day of camp. There is no advance application other than the regular camper application. Please visit the Daily Schedule page for more information.
Weddings & Outings
Generally speaking, each summer we hire:
Junior Counselors (All positions currently filled for 2021, new applicants will be placed on wait list and contacted if more positions open up)
Assist Senior Counselors in supervising groups of campers. Participate in all activities. Must be at least a High School student, at least 16 years of age.
First preference is given to applicants who have completed our CIT Program.
Supervise groups of campers. Participate in all activities.
Must be at least a High School graduate, preferably working towards a college degree and 18 years of age. A limited number of Senior Counselors positions are available for high school graduates 17 years of age.
Program Area Counselors
Staff specializing in one activity area, able to teach groups of campers.
PACs are needed for all of camp's activities. Specific certifications may be required. Must be at least a High School graduate, preferably with at least one year of college or equivalent experience, at least 18 years of age.
LGT/WSI certifications are required for this position. Certification classes are available in June at no cost. Must be at least a High School graduate, preferably working towards a college degree, at least 18 years of age.
CIT Director, Special Events, Head Counselor, Program Director
These administrative positions are generally filled with returning staff, but sometimes we will look for new applicants to fill these roles. Must be a college graduate or be working towards a college degree, with previous experience in education or summer camps.
Kitchen and maintenance positions are available including lead cook & kitchen assistants.
